Got up in the morning in lake loowees then got to banff and went to Edie Berger then went in the hot tub outside at hotel, it was freezing oustide. the end

Day 15

This is Miss Trish, writing for Skye. It is 10:30pm here which is 1:30 am at home. We just got back from a 2 hour night time snowshoe adventure with a tour guide on Fairview Mountain in lake Louise. Wow! That was amazing!!! We saw lots of animal tracks and heard lots of history about lake Louise. Our guide saw 70 grizzly bears this year and told us all about an orphaned grizzly cub that they have been watching for the past 15 years. Very interesting.
We also watched a guy build an ice bar completely put of ice out front of our room and at night they will actually serve drinks at this ice bar!!
Lake Louise is very cool, the hotel we are staying at is chateau lake lousie, another very big and very old and expensive resort. This hotel was built in 1880 and burned to the ground and the rebuilt and burned to the ground again in 1929!!
I made a mistake about banff being the highest town in Canada, it is Lake Louise. Lake Louise is 5700feet above sea level, which means 5700 feet higher than home!
Well everyone is pretty tired out!

We are off back to banff tomorrow for one more night then Calgary for three nights, including Christmas then back home!!

Day13

Today Denny got here we went on a gondola it went really high, I went to the very top of the mountain, it was scary and fun. Went to the pool two times. Tomorrow we go to lake Louise on a bus.

Answers: the hotel costs hundreds of dollars a night!! It is huge! There are a bunch of restaurants and shopping center, and lots of really big Christmas trees.
The pool is warm inside and hot outside.
The mermaid and gondola were my favorite so far.

Day 12

I went shoping then went swimming then went on a hike and camfire and went to Woch a moovy the end

Day 11

Got to the hohotel and went to eat meet and egg nootels and wocht athers chrismes then raven skreemd the end. Wocht arthers Chrismes hohotel nootels

Staying at a castle in the maintains. It's cool. It's haunted! There is a really big pool and one outside too that's hot.
There is a waterfall that goes into a hot tub too.

Facts from Miss Trish: the town of Banff is the highest town in Canada at 4,537 feet!!

The hotel we are staying at Banff Springs opened in 1888, it only cost $3.50 to stay!! Now the rooms are hundreds if dollars a night!

Day 10

Today was Raven's berthday. We went swimming two times, our room got bigger, then went shopping got Raven a bandana

Day 9

Went to Johnston canyon. I was tired. It was a long hike. The frozen waterfall was amazing. Sow fossils in canyon wall.

Day 8

I went to a store and sow a cool mermaid then went to the hot springs and swam outside in the mountains, the water was hot. then went shoping and wocht a show the end


Answers: Skye's favorite thing so far was seeing the mermaid skeleton at the Indian trading post. (Picture below)
We haven't seen any animals in the mountains yet but Kyle and raven saw a deer walking down the street today!
Kyle said it felt good on the plane.
Miss Trish's favorite animal at the zoo were the penguins also but the hippos were really really cool, they open their mouths really big when the zookeeper threw them melons, they were funny.

Miss Trish : I was asked to give my opinion if I liked certain chocolate better than another and they have me money to do that:) the chocolate was yummy!
Skye: the zoo lights were Christmas lights all over the zoo and lots of lites shaped like animals
My favorite animal was the penguins
The waterslide was warm all the time

Banff is 4600 km from home!
We were 36000 km high in the airplane from Toronto to Calgary
Banff is 1463 m above sea level where you are!!
The Rocky Mountains are by at the coolest thing we have seen so far!!

Day 7

I got on a bus and got to the inn and I sow the rowkys then went shoping then went swimming. Seeing the rowkys for the ferst time was cool!

Day 6

Mamma went taste testing chocoolet and got paid $20, got ready to go to banff and we wocht serfs up and went to the zoolites . it was a good day. the end

Day 5

Today I went to see my great gramma spunky. She was funy she is 96. Another older lady downstairs cold me don but my name is not don, she just kept asking what my name was and forgetting.
At the pool, I went In the wave pool then the hot tub then dawn a woter slide then went in a Ball then a tree hews splash park then on a Tarzan rope then it was time to get out, there was mini melts the end

I went to clime a rock woll then went to play pool I won

Today we went to the science centr and the zoo. I saw hippos, I saw penguins. Did you no that hippos eat melon?
